I was having a cigarette break with Luigi, Bernie's boyfriend during a lull in the Ozinefest last Sunday when she started complaining about Mum.
"She just won't stop listening to her LArc CD. The only time she stopped was when I told her that I wanted to watch a DVD, and she was a bit pissed when she realized that I wanted her to turn off the player."
That was when I realized that my mum is in serious fangirl mode...and it's not amusing anymore :(
Actually, I think my whole family is in asian overdrive nowadays. How we spent our 3-day weekend should give you an idea on what I'm talking about:
1. Watched the whole series of Hana Kimi Taiwan version
2. Met a lot of cosplayers at the Ozinefest at SM Megamall
3. Downloaded stuff about Fahrenheit and S.H.E.
4. Watched 2 episodes of Tokyo Juliet
5. Bought and watched 3 L'Arc~en~Ciel DVD's
Sometimes, a day would pass when all we watched on TV or listened to on the CD player would either be Japanese or Taiwanese artists. I really should be playing more Filipino music...I wonder what our neighbors are thinking about us whenever they hear these foreign music from our house.
p.s
I'm currently hooked on 2 taiwanese songs from the OST of Hana Kimi Taiwan and Tokyo Juliet. I'm sharing them with you since they ain't so bad...though hearing all those words with x and z can throw you off a bit. Enjoy!
